"Because of the updated changes from Bank Indonesia (BI), whichremained open kliringnya service, then Monday the stock to stay open," said Wei.
As is known, the central bank to change its decision related tovacation together on Monday, May 16, 2011. This time the central bank said Friday the national clearing and RTGS system remainedopen, so they can provide service.
"Clearing, RTGS, BI cash and transaction services to stay open.This is called a limited operation,"said Acting Director of theDirectorate of Strategic Planning and Public Relations Difi AhmadJohansyah.
Previously, the BI said closed RTGS and clearing services in theday Monday, May 16, 2011 because the national governmentfollowing the leave of absence. This is followed by BEI with the decision to shut down stock trading on Monday.
But BI changed his decision to open a clearing and RTGS servicesto assist economic actors who had been planning of economic activities on Monday.
"So we still provide service. We call the limited operations,"addedDifi.
PR Welfare in a press release stating, in the framework ofefficiency and effectiveness of working days, holidays and vacationtogether, it was decided Monday, May 16 declared a vacationtogether.
The decision was based on a joint ministerial decision of utilizationand RB, the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration, decree No. 2 of 2011 andSKB/01/M.Pan-RB/05/2011.
As is known, on Monday, May 16 is the 'national kejepit Day'because on May 17, 2011 is a holiday commemorating the Day ofVesak.
