Dhaka, (Analysis);Nobel laureate from Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus eventually resigned from the Grameen Bank, a week after the Supreme Courtrejected the claim.

"I took this step without prejudice to the legal issues raised beforethe Supreme Court and to prevent undue interference in theGrameen Bank," Yunus said in a release as quoted by AFP onFriday (13 / 5).
Yunus, 70, was removed by the Central Bank of Bangladesh fromhis post as leader of bank that focuses on micro-credit on March 2as it is considered beyond the retirement age of 60 years. But he is against the order was to file a lawsuit later rejected by theSupreme Court on May 5.
Yunus's removal is the top row with the government led by the Awami League. He broke with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in2007 when trying to form a new party.
Government of Bangladesh has a 25% stake in Grameen whopioneered the concept of small business loans to the poor peoplewho then copied around the world.
