JAKARTA - Make money Blog$; PT Medco Energy International Tbk (MDCO) plans toissue bonds denominated United States dollars (U.S.) amounted to USD150 million.
"We will issue U.S. dollar denominated bonds worth USD150million is planned to be diliuncurkan at the end of June 2011," saidFinance Director Cyril Nurhadi in Jakarta, Thursday (05/19/2011).
The reason for continuing the company issued bonds denominated in dollars is due to the financial statements of companies also use the U.S. dollar.
"So the company thought it would be better if the spending is doneby the company in dollars and revenues were in dollars as well, thereby reducing the risk of foreign exchange," he explained.
As for who will be the lead underwriter (an underwriter) of theprocess is PT Bahana Securities.
Finally he explained, that in 2011 this company has obtained athree year extension of contract Bawean, Block A contract inNanggroe Aceh Darussalam and in South Sumatra.(ade)
