WASHINGTON - U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday (6 / 10), warns that Europe must act quickly to resolve its debt crisis.
Obama also said the problems on the continent became a serious threat to the fragile U.S. economy. "They must act quickly," Obama said in a White House news conference.
"We have gained the upcoming G20 meeting in November. My strong hope is that at the G20 meeting that they have a concreteplan of action is clear enough for the task."
Debt crisis that began in Greece, Ireland and Portugal trap on the way, is now threatening the Italian and Spanish.
It puts at risk the euro zone as a whole and of its currency becausebanks exposure to the debt the country making it impossible toraise funding. (Ant/OL-5)
