JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) closed downenough in the afternoon. At 16.00 hours, the index plunged 5.64% to Rp 3348.708.
Five stocks managed to record an increase. While 263 stocks felland 19 other stocks did not move. Volume of transactions todayinvolve the 4.517 billion shares worth Rp 4028 trillion.
The sagging sector today is the largest agricultural sector by8.57%. While in the second position there other industry sectorsthat fell by 7.02%. Basic industries sector was third with 6.52%decrease.
Three stocks that inhabit the top losers were: PT Bank Mega(MEGA), which fell 22.86%, PT Nusantara Inti Corpora (UNIT) fell 20% to $ 300, and PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha (WOMF) fell16.07% to rp 235.
Shares in the top gainers today was PT Sorini Agro AsiaCorporindo (Sobi) rose 6.98% to Rp 2,300, PT Verena Multi Finance (VRNA) rose 3.31% to Rp 125, and PT EterindoWahanatama (ETWA) rose 1.27% to USD 400.
