Jakarta - PT Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA) recorded a net profit of Rp 68.1 billion through the third quarter of 2011, an increase of 50.6% compared to the same period in 2010 which only amounted to Rp 45.8 billion. The increase in net income was driven by the increase in revenues of 50.6% which reached Rp 2.07 trillion.
"The increase in net profit for the period was driven by the increase in revenues of 50.6% which reached Rp 2.07 trillion, compared to last year's revenue of Rp 1.4 trillion. "Even the total sales of September 2011 coupled with the orders on hand amounting to 175 units 1338 units have reached or exceeded the target of 2011 for 1293 units. The number is also greater than the total sales in 2010 totaled 835 units," he explained.
Peter further said, if viewed from the business sector, a significant increase in net income was primarily driven by revenues from the mining sector (73%), followed by other sectors of the general industry (9%), infrastructure (10%), forestry (2 %), agribusiness (2%), oil & gas (1%) and others (3%).
INTA listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 1993, established 41 years ago, has total assets as at end September 2011 amounted to Rp 3.08 trillion. INTA Group has a major business in the areas of agency, financing, rental and heavy equipment manufacturing and mining contractors.
