Samsung, which previously had rejected market speculation that it might want to buy Hewlett-Packard‘s PC business, this morning likewise ruled out buying the company’s WebOS software arm, according to Bloomberg.
CEO Choi Gee Sung said at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin that the company would “never” make such an offer.
HP has said it plans to stop selling WebOS-based tablets and mobile phones due to poor sales.
