Sell ​​1 Billion Dollar Bonds, PLN Roadshow to the U.S.

JAKARTA,  PT State Electricity Company (PLN) Persero currently conducting roadshows abroad. The goal is to peddle global bonds (global bonds) worth 1 billion U.S. dollars.



PLN president director Nur Pamudji explained that the company would still plans to issue global bonds in the second half of 2012. Bond proceeds will be used to finance capital expenditure.

"Roadshow her in two weeks. Town destination is financial city in Asia and the United States," Nur said when met at the state coordination meeting at Hotel Sahid The Rich Yogyakarta, on Thursday (10/11/2012).

According to Nur, PLN will conduct roadshows to cities like Singapore, Hong Kong, San Francisco and New York in the United States. But Nur is still reluctant to explain the exact value of global bond issuance.

Just for the record, the second phase of PLN issued bonds that are part of the global bond fund plans $ 2 billion approved by shareholders last year.

The Company previously had a successful global bonds amounting to 1 billion U.S. dollars in November 2011. PLN previously launched a global medium term notes (GMTN) 10-year on 16 November 2011. Bonds was released with a coupon of 5.5 percent per year.

The three global rating agencies, namely Moody's International gave a rating of Ba1, S & P to BB and BB + from Fitch, the bonds.

"This term has a slot PLN double bond. Well for the issuance of the first phase we oversubscribe, but that now, we do not know," he explained.
