JAKARTA, - The Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) rose 12 points. At the end of trading on Tuesday (09/10/2012), JCI closed up 12.015 points, or 0.28 percent, to 4280.250.
While the LQ45 index closed up 2.689 points or 0.36 percent to 741.723.
In today's trading, investors could realize profits by releasing seed stocks that hampered the pace of the index.
Almost all sectors rose except property, basic industries and infrastructure. Total trading transactions of Rp 4.14 trillion.
Foreign investors recorded net purchases recorded at Rp 884 billion.
Stock markets in China and Honkong had gained after the government pledged stimulus to boost economic growth.
The Shanghai Composite Index jumped 40.81 points, or 1.97 percent, to 2115.23. The Hang Seng Index rose 112.72 points, or 0.54 percent, to 20937.28. While the Nikkei 225 index fell 93.71 points, or 1.06 percent, to 8769.59.
