Analyst: Gold Moves in Level Up

JAKARTA, MAKE MONEY BLOG $ - Gold prices remained at high level since there is hope that the stimulus will be launched from two world's central banks, the U.S. Federal Reserve and European Central Bank.

Speech of the President of the ECB, Mario Draghi, on Monday evening (09/03/2012) indicated that the ECB is preparing to intervene in the bond market by buying government bonds maturing three years to lower the rate of return (yield) bonds in countries such as the troubled euro zone Spain and Italy.
"Indeed, the plan is not yet at the stage of implementation, but the expectations of the market is enough to keep hold of gold at the top level," said the Head of Research and Analysis Futures PT Monex Investindo, Ariston Tjendra, in his research in Jakarta, Tuesday (4/9 / 2012).
By Ariston, on Tuesday trading gold still has the potential to go up to the next resistance level in the range of 1698-1703 U.S. dollars per troy ounce.
He also cautioned to be wary of correction as prices have touched the resistance level. The penetration of "support" 1684 could bring gold down to the area around 1672. "Today's data that needs to be considered is the data from the U.S. manufacturing ISM at 21:00 pm. Due to current market focus on Fed stimulus expectations, then the data is worse than forecast could push back the strengthening gold price," he explained.
Yesterday, gold is a positive move, the continued strengthening of last week to the highest level of five months as investors expect the Federal Reserve will launch a new monetary easing policies.
Gold for December delivery rose 9.60 dollars, or 0.6 percent, to 1697.20 U.S. dollars per troy ounce in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Transactions on trading floors were closed for the Labor Day holiday.
Speaking at the annual symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke last week confirmed that the U.S. central bank was ready to spur economic growth by adding monetary easing.
