JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Interconnection between ATMnetworks and ATM network Bank Mandiri Bank Central Asia (BCA) will be launched for the first time on Monday (1/16/2012).This is in line with Bank Mandiri ATM network interlinked withATMs managed by PT Prima Rintis Sejahtera.
That way, customers of Bank Mandiri and BCA facilitated for mutual transfers, check balances, and cash withdrawals at ATMsowned by two banks.
"To transfer the customer will be charged Rp 5,000," said BCAPresident John Setiaatmadja, Friday (13/01/2012).
As is known, in October 2011 Bank Mandiri signed a cooperation with PT Rintis Sejahtera (ATM Prima). Through such cooperation, transaction cash withdrawals, check balances, andtransfer antarBCA and Mandiri can be performed on 22,000ATMs connected through an ATM network Prima, including the7000 BCA ATM.
BI Deputy Governor Ronald Waas positive rate of connectivitythat exists between the BCA and Mandiri. He hopes the secondstep can be followed by large banks other banks.
