China's inflation slowed in the lowest level of 15 months?

BEIJING. China's inflation slowed in the lowest level in 15 months.Today, the National Bureau of Statistics reported that consumer prices in December rose 4.1% over the previous year. Inflation rate is also slower than the previous month rose 4.2%.

Meanwhile, prices at the producer level was at its lowest in twoyears. This condition gives more space for the government tosupport economic growth, falling exports amid the global economic slowdown due to the impact.

Today's data can allow Prime Minister Wen Jiabao to continueshifting the focus of policies to strengthen the expansion. The increase in imports and exports last month was the lowest in two years.

Economist at BNP Paribas SA, Ken Peng rate, inflation is no longer a constraint on economic policy, and the government will be more relied on other economic data to decide whether there is a need to loosen economic policy. "However, policy makerswill probably remain vigilant against inflation for a while, because the amount still exceeded the annual target," he said, in Beijing.

China's statistics bureau said inflation rose 5.4% during 2011, exceeding the government target of 4% set at the beginning of the year. As, for this year, policy makers have not released theinflation target.
