Deputy Governor of Bank Regulation and Banking ResearchIndonesia (BI) Muliaman D. Hadad said that detailed rules would include issues of good governance.
"In general prinsipnaya such [bank or institution with strict prudentialsystem which has a bank can manage the majority of shares], butwe'll see of course there are other requirements that must be met, including how good governance can be done," he said today isMonday, May 14, 2012.
According to this rule is not retroactive, but will also not apply only tonew players. He just said that this rule will hold on to fantasize thatgood governance within a firm.
Muliaman admit these things will be answered in a Bank IndonesiaRegulation (PBI) to be published in June 2012, though he claimed not to speak much because the rules are still in the stage ofcompletion.
He argued that the rule can not be out in no time as it takes a longsocialization including consulting and seeking input from many parties. (parachute)
