MAKE MONEYBLOG$~Jakarta - The Ministry of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) had received information regarding plans of PT Pertamina (Persero)issuing bonds denominated in U.S. dollars. Total global bonds evenmore than U.S. $ 2 billion.
"Pertamina global bonds. Amount more (U.S. $ 2 billion)," saysDeputy Ministry of Enterprise Sector Restructuring and Strategic Planning Pandu Djajanto when asked reporters at his office, JalanMedan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta, Friday (04/20/2012).
Pandu explained that proceeds from issuance of debt securitiesused for business expansion in Pertamina's upstream anddownstream sectors. Pandu but declined to mention the composition of the fund is more detailed.
Previously Managing Director of Pertamina Karen Agustiawan says it is preparing a global issue bonds. The plan debt will rise in 2012.But the global value of bonds is presented Karen about U.S. $ 1billion-US $ 1.5 billion.
