MAKE MONEY BLOG$, Shanghai: After waiting for about four years, PTBank Mandiri Tbk finally realize the opening of branch offices inShanghai, China.
It results in Bank Mandiri as the only bank that operates branches inIndonesia China Mainland.
The inauguration of the Shanghai branch of Bank Mandiri made Director Zulkifli Zaini in Shanghai, China, Friday (27/4).
The SOE Minister Dahlan Iskan, Deputy Governor of BankIndonesia Halim Alamsyah, Chairman of China Banking RegulationCommission (CBRC) Liu Ming Kang, and Indonesian Ambassadorto China Imron Cotan witnessed the inauguration.
In a press conference at the Shangri La Pudong, Zulkifli said the presence of the Shanghai branch aims to develop cooperation opportunities between companies in Indonesia and China, as well as with companies from other Asian countries.
The presence of overseas branches to-6 is expected to support theexpansion of the company's business network Indonesia to an international financial center, as well as enlarging the role of BankMandiri to increase the performance of national exports.
