JAKARTA. PT Kresna Securities Tbk (Kren) will launch three newmutual fund products, in the first half of 2012. All three species areprotected mutual funds, stock mutual funds, and mix.
The launch of three products made in pursuit of managed fundstarget next year is pegged to Rp 2.5 trillion.
"The prospect of mutual funds the better. That's what we're after," said Commissioner Andrew Tanadjaya Sekurindo Kresna Graha,Jakarta, recently.
For products protected funds are expected to give yields of about 10% to 11%, well above the yields on deposits. The new productwill have an asset base of corporate bonds and government bonds.Meanwhile, for two other products, is currently still in the stage ofthe company's internal discussions.
The product launch will be conducted after separation of the investment managers of business units under the name PT KresnaAsset Management completed.
Andreas hoped, the separation will be completed in October 2011.
"We have submitted to Bapepam LK (Capital Market Supervisory Agency and Financial Institution) for the separation of business units with initial paid up capital of Rp 26 billion. All there is noobstacle, hopefully complete the process quickly," said Andreas.
Asset Management is expected to contribute about 20% to 30%for the company. Contributions are expected to be obtained
of mutual fund products that already exist and increase in the number of customers.
